The Catch Up Post
Been preoccupied for a few weeks.................reasons to follow. So to catch up........here's some "things".
Happy with the final three on Dancing With the Stars. I am usually thoroughly annoyed when people who are not as good dancers hang on, only because of their popularity with the fans. In a case of complete opinion reversal. I'm glad Mya, (clearly the best dancer, and deserves to win) Donnie (can we call him Don now? He's my age!) and Kelly (the surprise of the season) are the three for the finals.
Joanne (who is this chick) was clearly a better dancer than Kelly or Donnie but.................who is this chick?
Looking forward to the finals.
Since we last spoke (posted) we've had yet another November snow storm. This one hit last weekend and we got about six inches. Still hasn't melted yet. We are way up for the year and month. Harbinger of things to come?
I got a new camera, because I had dropped the previous one so many times in 4 years that it gave up the ghost. Still learning the ins and outs of the new one, but photos to follow.
It's Birthday month in The Chick's family. Mom and little Bro have November b-days and so does Dad. Throw in Thanksgiving and parent's anniversary...........the Hallmark people are raking it in right before
Christmas.

The Husband finally got his wish.....................
We have acquired a ........................dog. Yes, I can hear both the groans and cheers all the way here. I don't think a week has gone by since our wedding 7 years ago when The Husband has not mentioned getting a dog. And yes, we had a disastrous month a few years ago with a pound black lab who was "She Who Must Not Be Named."
This time has been infinitely better, but not without it's bumps.
